  1. Roy Says:

Dear Amber, I am pleased to visit your site. It is really done with class and from your heart. Wow, I have the honor of leaving the 3rd comment from the 3rd planet from the sun. I have a love of prime numbers.

The last book I really read, well novel anyway was the Sheltering Sky in 1987. I randomly picked up the book in Neice or is it Niece…So when I pick Love Nots and read it, I will have accomplished the feat of reading one book every 22 years. I have always felt if I read too many books that I might copy someone elses work when I actually get around to writing one of my own. I did read the the few lines about the photo shoot and it has enticed me.

It was great to meet you. You are sweet, gorgeous, and it was a pleasure to carry on a real conversation.

    ciao bella,
    Roy

“blank postcards for sale..every stranger’s glance
held a tad too long, every closed door waiting to be opened,
every unknown street just around the corner” (quote from
    Love Nots!)

Thank you, Amber, for writing Love Nots! and filling in
those blank postcards with words that bring us closer
to you as an author, and closer to the World of Words
    presented with love.

I felt compelled to reply to you, Roy, who luckily has been able
to live in Nice (yes, it is Nice, the SE France resort and
playground for the “happy people” for whom I guess reading
novels is not a form of “recreational play” as it is for many of us).
I guess if one does not read novels a lot one would not spell well
… it’s easy to remember though, Nice is nice!

Also, we should be super grateful to Amber for getting you
to read a novel because she can teach you to know that
reading is a way to actually get into the writer’s visions
and have the intimate (really, yes, intimate) conversation
with them. Closer to their souls than mere chit-chatting
over dinner-before-the “dessert”! So, good luck on your
new journey of reading, and we could look forward to having
that stimulating conversation with you by way of the book
that you say you might write someday . . .

  4. Sylvia Fain Says:

SMILES WITHOUT ANSWERS …. OH, I JUST FOUND AMBER’S tab for Up Close and Personal!

Her JANUARY 2009 outpouring under the tab UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL, is
called SMILES WITHOUT ANSWERS, and it is sooooooo well written!

BRAVO, to the author of Love Nots! !!! I’m excited now to read your next book!

  5. Jean Says:

Amber, thank you so much for sharing your talent, your creativity, your beauty, your insights… and now a webpage! So cool! I truly enjoyed your last book and look forward to reading Notty Love! You honestly inspire me.

  6. Albertina (Tina!) Says:

oh, yes, glad to find your pages Ms. Guidara. Oh, yes, Roy, Diane, Sylvia, and Jean, we all are cheering Amber Guidara! I only know her from her book Love Nots! that my friend mailed to me as a birthday gift. Now I was really delighted to find these pages here to continue her book’s ideas. I especially loved her February 2009 diary entry so I have bookmarked the Up Close and Personal page so that I can easily just go to find her writing again. I’m real excited to see what she has to say in her March entry. I’m a little reclusive so her being out there where it all happens keeps me “informed”

by the way, nana called me Albertina, but my friend’s call me Tina.

  7. cyrus Says:

    By Octavio Paz

    Sunstone (fragments)

    a crystal willow,
    a poplar of water,
a tall fountain the wind arches over,
a tree deep-rooted yet dancing still,
a course of a river that turns,
    moves on,
    doubles back,
    and comes full circle,
    forever arriving:
    the calm course
of the stars or an unhurried spring,
water with eyes closed welling over
    with oracles all night long,
a single presence in a surge of waves,
wave after wave till it covers all,
a reign of green that knows no decline,
like the flash of wings unfolding in the sky, (…)
    I travel your body,
    like the world,
your belly is a plaza full of sun,
your breasts two churches where blood
    performs its own,
    parallel rites,
my glances cover you like ivy,
you are a city the sea assaults,
a stretch of ramparts split by the light
in two halves the color of peaches,
    a domain of salt,
    rocks and birds,
under the rule of oblivious noon,

dressed in the color of my desires,
you go your way naked as my thoughts,
    I travel your eyes,
    like the sea,
tigers drink their dreams in those eyes,
the hummingbird burns in those flames,
    I travel your forehead,
    like the moon,
like the cloud that passes through your thoughts,
    I travel your belly,
    like your dreams,

your skirt of corn ripples and sings,
    your skirt of crystal,
    your skirt of water,
    your lips, your hair,
    your glances rain
    all through the night,
    and all day long
you open my chest with your fingers of water,
you close my eyes with your mouth of water,
    you rain on my bones,
    a tree of liquid
sending roots of water into my chest,

    I travel your length,
    like a river,
    I travel your body,
    like a forest,
like a mountain path that ends at a cliff
I travel along the edge of your thoughts,
and my shadow falls from your white forehead,
my shadow shatters, and I gather the pieces
and go with no body, groping my way, (…)

  8. G.S. Says:

I read Love Nots! once for fun (it was originally given to me as a gift) and a second time because I was going through something kind of hard in my relationship and wanted to reread some of the insights that the book offered. My thanks to the author. Your book became a friend of mine and I didn’t feel so alone. My fiance is reading it now, I made him. So far he thinks Miranda is funny! Just wait! Right?! Ps. I also adopted a dog from an animal shelter recently. We got a Pit and named her Charm. She’s so beautiful and really sweet! Miranda would like her :)

  9. Sarah Says:

Yeah, it’s cool. I liked it cause you can totally read it for pleasure or whatever, or you can read it and actually get a LOT of meaning out of it. Depends what you want. I’m way moody so everytime I picked it up, something always spoke to me. I actually got pretty attached to the main character. I felt like she was a real person.

  10. Andre’ Says:

Wow! I just read your March entry… you have such a lyrical way with words. I knew it from reading your novel, but the poem really moved me. I had no idea novelists were also poets. I always sepearted them in my mind before. That was really beautiful. I hope you share more with us.

  11. Maier Says:

My Pregnant Moon – I will never look at the moon in the same way again. Very nice!

  12. Carla Says:

My boyfriend left a copy of My Pregnant Moon on my pillow this morning… smart guy. With inspiration like that I think we’ll be busy tonight. What a romantic image!

  13. Frederic Says:

Everything written in the chapter “Shadows of Time” gave me the chills for so many reasons. I’m not done reading Love Nots! but so far I just had to express how moved I am…

  14. Katz Says:

I’m so happy to see that the novelist is also a poet! And that she is sharing it with us. I love great writing in all forms, but poetry really hits the spot sometimes! Like she said in her diary entry, sometimes poetry is the “only answer.”

  15. Christansen Says:

I read Frederic’s blog about “Shadows of Time,” I couldn’t agree more. Short, but PROFOUND.

  16. Patricia M. Says:

I’ve noticed that a great deal of the author’s writing is “profound,” but I’ve also noticed that it’s also very subtle. If you are just skimming along it’s easy to miss, but if you are really savoring the story insights abound. I really enjoy her style.

  17. Abella Says:

Yay! I found your website… I wasn’t sure if you had one or not. It’s really well done. I like it because it feels personal. One day I hope to see you at a book signing, my friend met you at the one in Hollywood a year ago (I think) and said you are very classy and sweet. You seem a bit of a mix of sexy, class, hip, clssic… young but wise. You’re just very interesting to me and I’m so curious about Notty Love! I can’t believe Love Nots! was your first book. Where have you been?! Thank you for your story. All of your characters became my frinds… even Girard and Christian. Big lessons!

  18. Johnny B.G. Says:

Leaving my respects to the author.

  19. Carter Says:

I am pleasantly surprised by this website, very nice.

  20. Higgins Says:

The cover of Love Nots isn’t man-friendly, BUT the material is. So if you’re a chap don’t judge this one by it’s cover! Very interesting reading about female minds and emotions, even a bit surprising.

  21. Carter Says:

I just read the November diary entry. I can relate to a bittersweet season, that’s for sure. Mine is now, this winter. All I have to find now is a smart blonde sexpot to share a bubble bath with! Cheers ;)

  22. Jacob Says:

You bring an absolutely ridiculous, outrageous, and entirely new meaning (and standard) to the phrase, “beauty and brains.” Talk about raising the bar! Seriously. Good for you.

  23. J. Parks Says:

Hello, Ms. Guidara. I want you to know that I am now envious of the moon! I am also very anxious to read Notty Love! It’s been a pleasure to find your website up and running.

  24. Yvette Says:

My compliments to the author! Love Nots! was a tasty dish. Just for the record and in response to your September entry… If I were surrounded by male models I’d be workaholic too! lol! ;)

  25. CK Says:

Amber, you continue to accomplish beautiful things with your hallmark class. Thank you for opening up to share them with our world. That alone is an accomplishment and takes a grand leap of faith. I am glad to see that you are now blogging. You have a beautiful heart, mind, and soul. Warm Regards, CK

  26. Sylvia Fain Says:

MAN FRIENDLY! Hi Higgins … like in My Fair Lady … Professor Higgins!

Yes, indeed, my husband also found the cover also not “man friendly”
and like most men where women are concerned “It’s all in the packaging!”
How often he and his guy friends can say, “She just looks like she’s ‘ready’”

Well, Love Nots! has chapters that are so “ready” that they are like magnets,
too like crazy glue to escape yet too hot to hold. The novel, yes, goes
back and forth between this intensity of being gutsy, crude, very “he man, me woman”
“gone ape” friendly like in the old-time cartoons … to being candy apple, pink
softly-spun cotton candy sweet (which actually is one of Amber’s images in the book).
Yet, hey, did anyone ever say that understanding a woman was straightforward?
As Amber said in her Feminine blog… even Freud could not figure women out.

So, sorry about the cover… must have been that “too baby-talk sweet babble”
versus the grown-up woman who is sooooo “ready” … must have been that chapter
in the book that doesn’t “turn men on immediately” Yet as a woman myself, I’d
like to think that I’m sexy sweet and can imagine both scenarios of inner emotion
and external physical pleasure. Maybe that’s what Amber had in mind: the complexity
of a woman, a woman with a soul.

  27. KP Says:

I’m looking forward to your April posts!!!

  28. kelli Says:

A girlfriend of mine bought me Love Nots! for my birthday. I finally finished it. Miranda, what the hell?! I can’t wait to see what happens next… a really enjoyable read. Also, I just want to say that I’m finding the blogs (and comments) very interesting. The Economy of Love threw me for an unexpected loop. Can’t imagine what the next blog will be about! Ps. I wish I would’ve been with Amber in September (the Diary). Lol! Bye for now, author and bloggers!

  29. Tommy Thompson Says:

Hmmm…So I read your ‘Smiles Without Answers~’ and couldn’t help but thinking…since you were on your way out the door and he was obviously just passing by, what if you saw him again? Would you consider taking the time to get to know him? …just curious :) ~

  30. Camilla Ward Says:

Springtides of Love… (from Up Close and Almost Personal) I haven’t felt that way in years!!! But I remember… Boy, do I remember that feeling! Lovely to read, as the written expression in this diary entry is bang on, marvelous!

  31. Paulo Says:

What’s going on in that “honeyed delight”ful brain of yours now? Do we get another blog soon? You’re a welcomed intermission breaking up the monotony of my days. Best, Paulo

  32. morriosn Says:

the walk in the garden today seemed more refreshing and lighter, i could not help from giggling and smiling with each step. i noticed one uniquely beautiful flower had completley opened. it had shown itself boldly as to remind the whole world there is still hope for dreams to be realised. the magicial fragrance
i believed in long ago is now back to stay.
    you inspire the senses….

  33. Mr. Barcelona Says:

Just to stop by, I send you warmth from the Mediterranean coast… I am to enjoy your words of being. Yours are a gift.

  34. Jason Goldberg Says:

Amber, Hi its the black man that went to his visectamin in a tuxedo. LOL. Anyway I got a copy of the book. Will start on it and let you know my thoughts. What a great acomplishment! You are the best!
    JG

  35. Andre Says:

That a very sexy scene in chapter 26, Amber. I’m going to try that tonight with a woman in my book club. If I get socked in the jaw, it’s on your conscience!

  36. Albertina (Tina) Says:

PAUSE THEN WRITE ON WRITE ON oh dear writer. Your recent diary entry with your taking that pause was soooo well written and speaks to us all who sometimes feel life has left us coming in last in the Kentucky Derby race-of-the-year. Your writing lifts me up and carries me at least to the mid-range of those prancing horses so eager to succeed… YOU ARE CERTAINLY *NOT* ALONE! With your writing you show me that you are very connected to your world and to your feelings. You express sadness for us like the sad songs of jazz that warm us, comfort us, with the song’s salty tears. We all would wish to sing to you in return such songs to warm and comfort you. We look forward to more of your writings in the heat of summer when you are very hot and shiny with suntan lotion to protect your delicate skin, and no need of jackets with long sleeves! As a writer, you get to experience ALL OF LIFE, both sides of the grey cloud with that silver lining. Merci for your diaries. Merci for including us in your life by way of your wonderful site.

  37. Tiffany C. Says:

Hello Ms. Amber, I love your writing! Every time I read your writing I feel like every single word is so pure and honest, especially your diary this month. I felt like I was with you and even began to feel the same way. You don’t know me but I feel like I know you. There are a lot of great writers and you are one of them but you are unique because not only do you write well and have a truly gifted perspective, but you also write in a way that gives your readers a feeling of intimacy with you as an author, not just the story, post, or whtever it is you’ve written… it’s really amazing that you have the ability to do this to people if you think about it. I feel like you’re in the room with me whenever I read your work. It’s one thing to be able to write, but it’s an entirely different thing (a blessing that you’ve been given, really) to be able to actually become alive through your words. I’m glad I discovered you! I am so excited to read your next book (and future posts)! Sincerely, Tiffany

  38. Sylvia Fain Says:

INTIMACY pure honest … oh, Tiffany, you have said so much about what so many single (and even married) women (and men) must feel, a need to be close to other people in an honest and intimate way, even if it is only mutual-thoughts-through-words that we share with them. Goodness knows all through school when we read “those required reading books of authors we have never met”, we did find (like you have so vividly now found with Amber) another human being whose thoughts became dear to us (for me it was the poetry of W.B. Yeats and William Blake). Like you, I find that Amber (the person I also know through her writing) has become dear to me. This is a good thing. A real person, after all, wrote the words we read in her books and on the computer screen. And it is to that real person that we make our connection.

Tiffany, you have written so well about how Amber’s writing has impressed you that you yourself could become a writer, too! and share with others as Amber has shared her writing with you!

MAY EVERYONE ON AMBER’S SITE ENJOY THE SPRINGTIME!

  39. Casey J Says:

Yes, Andre! We likey likey chapter 26!

  40. Swift Says:

great author, great author, great author, great author… great! get it?! :)

  41. Emily Schaeffer Says:

I soooo relate to A Pause Alone! Even to be alone and know that you are still actively loving is truly an art of living. This also ties in with what was said in the “Spring is Awake! Are You?” blog… where it says somthing about distance between the people we are closest to… like some kind of irony that is tender and true. You expressed a very simple yet deep peace that I ave also found in melancholy. That was nice… All the Best, Emily

  42. Katz Says:

I want to meet muses like the ones you mentioned in your diary this month! What an interesting mix of personalities! I wonder if people realize how much magic they bring you as a writer, simply by being themselves… I bet they have no idea. It’s cool – I imagine you sitting in a coffee shop, or in a car at a stop light, or being introduced to someone at some chic event and WHAMO! another muse, new inspiration… the whole thing is very cool and mysterious. Thanks for sharing.

  43. Rose Says:

Intelligence is sexy… someone said that once somewhere … and Jacob in March is right, Amber, you do exude an image of intelligence being sexy… your book has grabbed hold of so many guys because it is sexy, then they find that it is as insightful as it is sexy (as has been said so many times in these comments) and your words are spoken with honesty (one could, in fact say that “honesty is sexy” ! )… beautiful girls and women have also come to your book because it was recommended as “intelligent writing” and these gorgeous creatures so much yearn to be “listened to” as well as “looked at”…

So, like Jacob said to you, Amber, you are that surprising mix of “beauty and brains”… we are all happy to have found you, Amber. Thank you for bringing us into your world.

  44. Playtime Says:

Ms. Author, consider this an official request.

Rumor has it that you tend to keep your personal life pretty private (enjoy the pun), but it would be cool to see you on Twitter and I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks so! I’m thinking you would write some seriously sweet tweets! Maybe you just don’t have the time, but… “a day in the life of Amber Guidara,” I want to know! :)

  45. The Jury Says:

    I second that motion!
“A day in the life…” Me Too!

  46. Danny Says:

Just stopping by to check in on you…
Sending you wishes for more and more of what you already are, our angel of light! Danny

  47. Kerrie S. Says:

Ha ha ha! :) Good answer (in reference to you diary entry this month). Yes, you can! LoVe that! and btw I also thought it was cool how you said what you were listening to in that moment. I looked the song up on you tube (was unfamiliar with it). It’s so perfect. I totally get it. You really set a mood. Have a great month and keep writing!!! Hi, to all of Amber’s other readers! Sincerely, Kerrie

  48. Paulie Says:

Thank you, Amber. You have made a significant impact on my life in very unexpected ways. Please keep writing. People need your words. I wish you all the best now and always.
    Respectfully, Paulie

  49. Curious Says:

Is the author currently working on any other projects and/or books? Or just Notty Love? Thanks!

  50. AMBER GUIDARA Says:

    Hi Curious,

Thank you so much for your interest!
Yes, in addition to Notty Love! I am currently working on two other projects at this time.
I am SuPeR eXCiTeD (and slightly obsessed in all honesty) about all three of them! I’m not at liberty to discuss the details yet… which makes me CrAzY, because they’re both so unique that I barely know how to contain my enthusiasm! Really, I wish I could tell everyone! All of the projects will take a fair amount of time to complete (one of them much longer than the other two), but as soon as each completion is within reach all of the eye-tingling, spine-tingling (and maybe a few other things tingling) details are going to be announced on this website first! Until then… xo, amber

  51. Playtime Says:

    Hi Amber,
I just noticed that you updated your “Letter from the Author” page. Would you mind sharing with us what you are currently reading or have most recently read? I’m intrigued…

Ps. After reading your response above I think I understand why you don’t tweet now. Three writing projects at once… Wow! I can’t hold the no Twitter thing against you.

  52. AMBER GUIDARA Says:

    Hi Playtime,

I am currently dividing my reading time between the French translation of Voltaire’s Candide, the June and July issues of Harper’s Bazaar, and the thought-provoking ingredients listed on the back of candy wrappers. xo, amber

    Ps. Tweeet tweeet tweet ;)

  53. Playtime Says:

    Lol! Very cool!
    Thank you! :)

  54. mr. crackers Says:

Hang in there GG……the big break will come.

  55. Tahitian Eyes Says:

    Ah… the never-ending “whys”…
Good girl, you just keep on keeping on! I for one am inspired by you because of your courage to tell it (write it) straight and to live your life with your heart wide open.
May you continue to enjoy the best in yourself without having to explain one damn thing to anyone! :)

    God Bless,
    “Tahitian Eyes”

  56. mr. crackers Says:

    it’s soo strange…..but u remind me…………. of …………..me….how weird
it makes me feel somehow invested in you!!

i have high hopes for you……and as u said ……….im swimming better than ever!!

it creeps me out sometimes how spooky acurate u can be!!

  57. Gerry Says:

Sending you and your wonderful world of writing some love just because. G

  58. morrison Says:

what a wonderful time it is to be dancing among the magic energy in which you live. brilliancy created right before your third eye switched on by your unconscious etheraic connection to the infinite galaxy of possibilities unknown. there hasn’t been a time like this since the 60′s, god bless it. the magic is back, but only through a single person not a whole generation. bring forth the abundance of answers untold. we hear the soft magical flute notes rising higher and higher, louder and louder. the people are lining up one by one finally in order… strong in their numbers. the march is not of the take over flavor, but more of the solidifing oneness of spirit. a new freedom comes our way, sifted from the chaos of wasted lives of the past. sure and confident in every step the future is assured. soon the the notes will be harmonizing beautifuly and rejoicing over all lands near and far. the change has come, the old ways are a thing of the past, the new color wheel, is now the ruler without the crown of power. empowered we stand beside you, our new freedom. always hope…thank you, love!

  59. Colin Says:

    Ms. Guidara,

It was really a pleasure to finally meet you and thanks for signing my book. You are as dynamic in person as you are in your writing. I will be keeping a close eye on you over these next couple of years because I don’t want to miss anything your working on. I enjoy your writings and your readers’ comments on your website. I bet your next book is going to be even more amazing than what you’ve already accomplished, that is undoubted, and lust? I can’t wait to read that one! I understand the other projects you are currently working on are unique and confidential, but really everyone should probably brace themselves for what’s coming. You have made a fan for life. Thank you for your uncanny insights and otherworldly sparkle.

    With much respect,
    Colin

    Ps. To Morrison,
I like and agree with your request:
“Bring forth the abundance of answers untold.” If anyone will, Amber will. She is magic.

  60. todd greene Says:

You know what, Guidara! If someone can be starstruck by an author I am! You had me at “Once upon a time…” Best, todd

  61. Ms. V Says:

FinaLLy read Love Nots! Been hearing about it forever! I should have read it sooner… Seriously, it was written realy well! I can’t wait for Notty Love and the other projects you have in store (as per your blog)! Very excited! Thank you for you art and for sharing your elegant spirit with us!

    Light and Love, V

  62. Cali Says:

I LOVVVVVEEEDDDD Miranda!!!!! Is Miranda going to be in Notty Love too?
    Thanks, Cali

  63. AMBER GUIDARA Says:

    Hi Cali,

Yes she is…. and Miranda’s all grown up in a MAJOR way! Miranda is practically writing herself and has me pleasantly losing sleep over what she’ll do next! She’s so funny! It’s hard for me to keep up with her (especially while I’m immersed in the ongoing creation of my own life and my other writing projects). Miranda is cRaZy, vibrant, and shocking! Personally, I’ve never met anyone like her, but I’d love to (uh, kind of… lol! she’s pretty intense these days- to say the VERY least). So stay tuned! There are some brand new characters that I can’t wait to introduce to everyone! xo, amber

  64. Cali Says:

Oh cool! Thanks for responding. I know that Notty Love is about lust (and love) but I was really curious about whether or not Miranda would be in it. I can’t even begin to imagine what’s next. Being able to create these amazing pieces of art with words the way that you do must be very exciting… I’m glad that you can, that you do, AND that you share! Thanks again, Cali

  65. sylvia Says:

    RE: FALLING CLOTHES DIARY ENTRY:

I’ve gone through what’s MISSING from my closet!
Very interesting… Thanks for the ideas you always
generate both for fun and for thoughtful reflection.

“PINKIN’ ‘BOUT CHA !” can’t chat, gotta scat!

with forever love of your writing …

  66. Ken Tate Says:

Hey Lady! It’s great to see you living your dreams! May we all learn how to do that! You’re right. “Remove the fear!” All my best, Ken

  67. Ashley Jones Says:

I love you! I love your energy! I love your writing! Please post book signings soon.
    Thank you, Ashley

  68. Toni Says:

Amazing, really. I can hardly believe ALL of this knowledge and creativity is inside of you!!! You’re like this beautiful fountain of love, intelligence, and insight. Who would;ve guessed?! Keep it flowing! Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us. I just bought a copy of Love Nots! Looking forward to reading it. Sincerely, Toni

  69. Patty Says:

Love Nots! is my new book to recommend! I love the fact that this isn’t just another dumb novel… It has so much to teach us. It really is interesting how quietly fear sneaks up on us and can start taking control of our lives! I’m totally in love with Miranda (the main character, for those of you who are still missing out). This is a must read for anyone who has ever battled fear for love.

  70. Jenna Says:

    Hey sex kitty!
Just stoppin’ by… lovin’ your posts!

ps. I can’t wait for you to tell us about the creative project you’re doing! I’m really curious about that!

  83. Paulie Says:

Twitter folks would be stoked to see a writer such as yourself tweeting… I know you’re probably really busy writing BOOKS! (I can’t even imagine how authors do this) and your website, and God only knows what else, but you know… just sayin’… ;)
    You’re so talented and intriguing!
    Respectfully, Paulie

  84. George Says:

Your diary entry “Hello, Au Revoir… and Everything in Between” is
imaginative and insightful. I particularly liked your imagery or as
I call it “painting pictures with words”. To quote some of your
    thought-provoking thoughts…”a destination when reached…will lavishly
pour me inside out into the world…if only to set me free from my own
familiar shores, melting me into the earth, marrying me with the ocean,
and evaporating me weightlessly so that I may join the white fires being
held by the secrets in the black nighttime sky”. AWESOME!!!

  85. Sylvia Says:

Dear Diary, dear writer, dear Amber,

YOU ALWAYS FIND THE THINGS TO SAY AND THE WAY TO SAY THEM!
    CONGRATULATIONS!

Edward R. Murrow said, “The newest computer can merely compound, at speed, the oldest problem in the relations between human beings, and in the end the communicator will be confronted with the old problem, of what to say and how to say it.”

  86. Carla Says:

AMAZING images in the Hello, Au Revoir… entry! Loved that! and p.s. go for the cowgirl hat anyway!!! lol!

  87. Andre Says:

Hi, I love reading Amber’s posts every month. I know that she isn’t on Facebook or Twitter… so, I’m wondering if she has ever considered adding a picture gallery? She’s really lovely and has an intriguing life (based on what I’ve read). I can only imagine that it would greatly enrich the site if the visual aspect of some of her days were to be included as well. I’m sure I’m not the only one who would enjoy seeing a gallery of photos. Just a suggestion… Honestly, it’s great as is, but thought I’d throw my opinion out there. Wishing only the very best, Andre

  88. Carla Says:

Andre, I guarantee that you are not the only one who would love to have her add a photo gallery (hope the webmaster is taking NOTES)!! :)

  89. AMBER GUIDARA Says:

    Hi Andre,

Yes, and just so that everyone knows… a picture gallery is going to be added, in addition to a few other fun things (surprises)! Our website is going to be relaunched next year. I’m super excited to share the upcoming changes with you, but like everything else in my life (especially the completion of my new books!!) the redesign will take longer than I would like for it to be completed. I hope that you enjoy what’s coming… If anyone has any other suggestions please don’t be shy! Your comments and emails are always welcomed and appreciated. Thank you so much to everyone for your kind messages… every single one of them touches me in such a unique and personal way. My website has been greatly enhanced by all of your posts! Love that!! I am very thankful and I hope that you are all leading the very best lives that you possibly can! xo, amber

peppermint candy is good for your spirit,
that’s Amber… always a “perk me up” delight
perhaps even like the afternoon elaborate yet
effective snuff boxes, porcelain and decorative,
whose invigorating contents bring a “heads up”
awareness of immediate life right in front of
our eyes, right now, at this precise “time of
our lives” when Amber and we meet, once again
in the world of love and writing.

A really super diary entry, my dear… a great
entrance to the “foyer” of springtime… let

congratulations on designing ways to handle
your busy schedule. it’s not many people in
current chaos situations who can get refocused
as quickly as you can. I confess your diary
bubbles set me at ease as well. thanks from
    all your readers.

JULY WELL DONE DIARY FOR JULY INDEPENDENCE!

How wise of you not to forgo the reality of economics
in the midst of “pretty sweet (overly sweet?!) dreams”
telling us that life is a cakewalk with sugar frosting
… and only that. We do live with other people in our
lives, we do live in a society, in a city, in a place
where plumbing and housing caves-of-shelter need constant
maintenance. How wise of you, dear writer.

Your diary is well done and, yes, it was totally cooked
“just right” to be served on your website for July.
MERCI from all of your readers (both current and potential)

    with love
