Amber Guidara was born and raised in San Diego, California. As a professional model she has lived in San Diego, Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, and Tokyo. In addition to having had a successful modeling career Amber further excelled as a top performing commercial real estate executive in Los Angeles prior to pursuing her career as a professional writer.

As a small child and throughout most of her travels and other career experience Amber could easily be found dabbling in the fields of short-story writing, screenplays, and poetry. Amber’s first proudly created work was called The Woogy Planet, a short-story about what happened to a small frightened planet when the sun fell asleep… Amber was only seven-years old. Eventually Amber’s vocabulary expanded and in some cases to four letter words… but nonetheless, armed with a grand dose of worldliness, heartbreaks, sexscapades, religious and cultural fascinations, philosophical explorations, and ten brave, well-manicured fingertips Amber released her first novel, Love Nots! a novel about fear and love.

While writing holds the reins to her dearest passion, Amber Guidara is also tenderly committed to assisting animals and children in need. Over ten percent of all proceeds from the books that are sold are distributed to the charities and volunteer programs held closest to Amber’s heart.
